With a growing demand for Hybrid vehicles, Denis Mahony looking for an experienced Parts Advisor to join our Aftersales team
The Role
As a Parts Advisor, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient supply of genuine Toyota and Lexus parts and accessories to both retail and workshop customers. You will be responsible for processing orders accurately, managing stock, and providing expert advice while maintaining the highest standards of customer care.
Key Responsibilities
• Assisting the Parts Manager with the day-to-day operation of the Parts Department.
• Supplying genuine Toyota and Lexus parts and accessories to workshop technicians and retail customers.
• Processing customer orders efficiently and ensuring all orders are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
• Managing goods inward, checking deliveries, and ensuring stock is correctly received and stored.
• Maintaining accurate stock control and reporting any discrepancies to the Parts Manager.
• Processing parts returns, warranty returns, and supplier credits in line with manufacturer procedures.
• Handling customer enquiries by phone, email, and in person, providing expert advice and support.
• Identifying and sourcing parts using manufacturer systems and electronic catalogues.
• Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe parts department environment.
• Supporting the achievement of departmental targets and customer satisfaction objectives
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
• Previous experience in a Parts Advisor, Motor Factor, Parts Department, or similar automotive role.
• Knowledge of automotive parts and accessories, ideally within a dealership environment.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong organisational skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Good computer literacy and experience using parts management systems.
• The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• A positive attitude and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• A full, clean driving licence would be an advantage.
