With a growing demand for Hybrid vehicles, Denis Mahony M50 & Kilbarrack are looking for experienced Motor Technicians to join our team

The Role

The ideal candidates will be experienced in all aspects of vehicle servicing and diagnostics and be capable of producing high quality work in a busy environment.

Responsibilities include

• Performing work as outlined on the job card with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and Toyota, Lexus & Mercedes-Benz standards.

• To carry out all work in a safe, environmentally friendly, and economical way.

• To build a bank of knowledge and skills to diagnose faults, carry out tests on Toyota, Lexus & Mercedes-Benz vehicles, and effect permanent and complete repairs.

• Diagnosing cause of any malfunction and perform repair after confirming authorization by customer.

• Examining the vehicle and performing vehicle health checks to determine if additional safety or service work is required.

• Communicating with Workshop controller, Service Advisors and Parts Department

• Road-testing vehicles to spot check work performed.

• Keeping on top of all technical bulletins and updates required on vehicles.

• Keep work areas clean and tidy, organised, and safe from hazards to health and safety. Adhere to Covid-19 company practices and procedures.

Requirements

• Qualified technician with a minimum of 2 years post apprenticeship experience necessary.

• Be efficient, exhibit excellent communication skills, have good organisational skills and producing high quality work consistently.

• Ability to clearly complete job card write ups with a thorough understanding of the requirements of factory standards for warranty write-ups.

• Capacity to be a team player to ensure the smooth running between departments

• Strong IT skills would be an advantage

Job Purpose

Manager of the Denis Mahony Group Marketing team reporting to the Operations Director/Managing Director. This role focuses on the development, execution and measurement of the group marketing strategy promoting the products and services across Denis Mahony and Mahony Fleet businesses, in an integrated and consistent approach across multiple channels to attract customers and increase brand awareness.

To assist in our push to a better online experience for our customers the group currently wishes to recruit a full-time Online Vehicle Specialist to join our team based across the group in both of our branches.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary point of contact for all Denis Mahony Ltd & Mahony Fleet marketing related activities.
  • Developing and implementing multi-channel marketing strategy for Denis Mahony Ltd & Mahony Fleet to deliver a return on investment.
  • Development and management of all group digital channels and activities including company websites, search engine optimisation, CRM system, email campaigns and social platforms.
  • Developing and overseeing content creation for all online channels, such as websites and social platforms, highlighting the company’s unique selling points and delivering consistent brand message.
  • Responsible for the management of all online vehicle content across the Denis Mahony retail business to ensure they are to a professional and consistent standard.
  • Briefing design agencies to produce impactful materials and assets within brand guidelines.
  • Identify, implement, and manage innovative marketing methods to effectively reach our target customers.
  • Monitor and manage the annual marketing budget for all business units on a weekly basis.
  • Compiling detailed monthly reports on marketing performance vs targets across all marketing activities including competitor activity and areas for improvement.
  • Taking overall responsibility for brand management and corporate identity.
  • Monitoring market trends, researching consumer/corporate markets and competitors’ activities to identify opportunities and key issues.
  • Responsible for managing and developing the marketing team including recruitment, performance reviews and leave management via Sage HR
  • Engage in continuous performance evaluation and training projects.
  • Ad hoc duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Minimum 1 year management experience is preferred.
  • Minimum 4+ year in digital communications and marketing expected. Experience or a qualification in graphic design can be helpful.
  • High-level creative thinking and design capabilities - while keeping an eye on budgets and business guidelines/policies.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and be comfortable working with a range of levels and teams.
  • Proficiency in turning projects around with tight timeframes and deadlines.
  • Excellent planning and organisation skills and be confident with budgeting and project management.
