Job Purpose.

Reporting to the General Manager, you will have full responsibility for the management of items relating to finance and insurance product sales. You will be expected to drive profitability, meet or exceed performance targets and deliver excellent customer service.

You will be a senior executive in your current position, with a proven track record of achievement, have significant retail motor industry experience, and be able to demonstrate excellent knowledge of finance and insurance products. This is permanent full-time position with genuine opportunity for career progression in a dynamic and fast paced environment.

Responsibilities will include.

• To be responsible for sale of finance and insurance products to the customer following qualification from the Sales Team.
• Assist the dealership in effectively prospecting for new business.
• Accurately complete all relevant documentation to the required legal standards and those of the Financial Services provider.
• Complete and keep accurate records of car sales and F & I performance, including receipt of all payments due.
• Administer all customer settlement enquiries.
• Ensure relationships with other sources of finance are established to handle business which may not be acceptable to another provider.
• Act with honesty, integrity and professionalism in all dealings and transactions with our customers.
• Understanding all aspects of financial and insurance product regulations to ensure accurate information is given when negotiating a sale.
• Monitoring finance performance against budget; identifying and addressing shortfalls.
• Assisting management in planning, forecasting trends, and revising plans for the dealership on an ongoing basis.
• Working with management to coach and develop the skills of the team to achieve business objectives.
• Logging all activity to monitor performance, measure outcomes and provide regular feedback to the General Manager.

Desirable experience and skills

• Proven experience within the motor industry is essential.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiating skills.
• You can demonstrate a solid understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance, regarding the sale of finance and insurance products.
• You will also be a well-organised individual who is process orientated whilst also taking a hands-on approach.
• A strong work ethic with the ability to achieve desired results.
• QFA qualified or on the path to achieving qualification.
• Proven ability to work to high standards.
• Strong IT and administration skills.
• Ability to work calmly under pressure.
• Hold a full, clean and valid Irish driver’s license.
